The biggest privately owned luxury tourist train in the world will be offering four new destination packages for the 2019 vacation season, each one for a trip of at least seven days.

To help celebrate the new packages, Rocky Mountaineer is offering savings of up to $1,000 through an early-bird booking offer.

Each of the packages includes at least a couple days of lodging as well as time aboard the train itself.

First Passage to the West Canmore Self-Drive

This seven-day-long package includes a stay at the new Malcolm Hotel in Canmore, four days with a rental car to explore the area (Canmore is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Banff), and two days aboard the Rocky Mountaineer.

First Passage to the West Kananaskis Self-Drive

The seven-day-long package includes two nights at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, four days with a rental car, and two days aboard the Rocky Mountaineer. Kananaskis Country is a beautiful area, sitting a mere 45-minute drive away from Banff, and full of opportunities to hike, mountain bike, horseback ride, or spend some time in a Nordic Spa.

First Passage to the West Sunshine Village Self-Drive

This seven-day-long package puts guests right inside Banff. It features two nights at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge, four days with a rental car, and two days aboard the Rocky Mountaineer. Sunshine Village is a top skiing area in Canada and is home to great places for nature walks, gondola rides, biking, and even hot springs.

Journey through the Clouds Mountain Adventures

This 10-day-long package features three nights at the CMH Cariboos Lodge (taking a helicopter ride to and from the accommodations), two and a half days of guided heli-hiking, and two days aboard the Rocky Mountaineer.

Tickets for the packages start at a cool $3,249, though the early booking bonus is only offered for a limited time.
