We couldn’t think of a better week to officially ring in the summer season! From burger fests to farmers’ markets to outdoor adventures, there are so many exciting events happening in and around the city to celebrate.

YYC Girl Gang Workshop: Dreaming Louder with Dani of Strive and Shine 

What: Join some of Calgary’s biggest female movers and shakers for a workshop with Dani Druisso of Strive and Shine. She will give you the tools to begin building your goals, help you define your version of success, and determine your core desires to build them into achievable dreams!

Whales Tohora

What: Coming all the way from the National Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, this exciting exhibition has been travelling North America for the last 10 years and Calgary marks its final destination. Excite your senses with this unique cultural experience that will show you everything you need to know about the king of the ocean, the whale. The exhibit shows everything from life-size whale skeletons to the evolution of these creatures and understanding how they communicate. There is so much to know about these beautiful beings.

YYC Burger Battle 2018

These furry black and white friends are charming and have a ton to teach us in the five years that they will be with us before returning to China.
