You can fly from Calgary to Iceland for just $621 roundtrip this fall
Contrary to what the name might suggest, Iceland isn’t all that icy — at least not during September or October, when you’ll be able to get a roundtrip flight out to Reykjavik, Iceland for a steal of a deal.
According to flight deal-finding website YYC Deals, roundtrip flights from Calgary to Iceland during the months of August, September, and October are going for just $621 roundtrip.
There is a bit of a catch if you want to capitalize on the deal, however, as the flights are a bit of a skip and a hop… and another short leap.
The flight there will see you spending a five-hour layover in Montreal, and the flight back features a two hour stop in Toronto — not the worst way to travel, but it does add on a bit of time to the already lengthy trip.
Those who are interesting in travelling to Iceland this summer will need to go onto either Flighthub or Kayak, search flights between Calgary International Airport and Reykjavik, Iceland, and use any of the following date combinations:
August 22 to August 29
August 28 to September 6
August 28 to September 11
September 2, 3, 4, 5 to September 11, 12, 14
September 6, 7, 8 to September 17, 18, 19, 20
September 8 to September 18
September 9, 10, 11, 12 to September 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 24
