Winter is here: Vancouver wakes up blanketed in snow (PHOTOS)

Break out the shovels, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Last week, forecasters predicted Metro Vancouver would get its first snowfall of the season overnight on Sunday and through Monday – and they weren’t wrong.

Vancouverites woke up this morning to a city covered in the white stuff, and early risers have taken to social media posting photos of it.

As a gentle reminder, please take extra caution while driving and getting around town.
