Main Street Car-Free Day Festival 2018

  • What: Spread across 21 blocks with “mini-festivals” along the route, the event features numerous activities, as well as performances on 15 different stages, and a wide variety of food vendors. This year, there will be stage performances at the Biltmore Cabaret, skateboard demos and activities courtesy of Anti-Social Skateboards, and a street hockey tournament presented by Collingwood Community Police.

Father’s Day at ‘The Nat’

  • What: Vancouver Canadianss annual Father’s Day catch is fun for the whole family. Admission is free and attendees are encouraged to bring their own baseballs and gloves, as well as sport the traditional Canadians team colours of red and white.

The SuperDad Show 2018

2nd Annual Rock for Autism

  • What: Enjoy 7 hours of pro-Rock and Roll to increase awareness and raise funds for adults with autism. Funds go to help train companies that hire persons on the ASD spectrum. Presented by Autism BC and Lindsay Music.

Bard on the Beach

  • What: Bard on the Beach is one of Canada’s largest not-for-profit, professional Shakespeare festivals. Presented in a magnificent setting on the waterfront in Vancouver’s Vanier Park, the festival offers Shakespeare’s plays, related dramas, and several special events in two performance tents from June through September. The lineup this year includes As You Like ItMacbethTimon of Athens, and Lysistrata.

FUBAR Roller Jam 2018

  • What: The return of the second FUBAR (Friends United Beyond All Race) Roller Jam, a charity event that sees proceeds benefit the BC & Yukon Make-A-Wish foundation. DJ Alibaba, DJ Dave, DJ Relik, Earl Da Pearl, DJ Jial 14, and the Table Tutors will all be on site, spinning old-school soul, funk, and R&B through the duration of the event. In addition to the skating and live music, the event will feature special performances, food vendors, face painting, prize draws, and 50/50 draws.
