An underwear run is coming to downtown Vancouver next month

After a successful underwear run in Toronto and at the University of British Columbia, founder of Party4Health, Jacques Martiquet, is bringing the magic to downtown Vancouver next month.

With support from BN3TH Underwear (formerly MyPackage) and the Vancouver Pride Society, this Undie Run will be kicking off Pride Weekend festivities! Everyone is welcome, including members of the LGBTQ2S+ community, and the larger Vancouver community.

In Martiquet’s experience, Undie Runs are a one-of-a-kind experience. “When people take off their clothes, it’s a crazy community-bonding experience,” he said. “The more sense of community, the more fun a party is.”

Martiquet said the Vancouver underwear run aims to generate a natural rush of endorphins brought on by the high of human connection, and the freedom of grooving, jumping, and jogging through the streets, public spaces, and SkyTrain stations of Downtown Vancouver.

Consistent with the Party4Health mantra, no alcohol or drugs are allowed –or necessary – at the event, said Martiquet.

Those interested in being part of the event can register online in advance. The start location will be released to registrants a few days leading up to the event.
