Where to get the most epic sakura eats in Vancouver
It’s almost sakura season Vancouver, and to celebrate local chefs, bakers, and restaurants have crafted some special events, experiences, and drool-worthy treats for us.
The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival runs from April 3 to April 29, so you’ve got tons of time to get in on these epic eats and drinks.

Here’s where to get the most epic sakura eats this season in Vancouver.
TWG Tea’s Sakura Tea Set
Enjoy an array of Japanese tea-infused savoury and sweet offerings at this tea service. You can also enjoy a cup of the TWG Tea Always Sakura Tea, and grab some of The Always Sakura Tea-infused macarons on your way out to make the most of this spot’s plethora of cherry blossom offerings.

Baker & Table Cafe
This Fraser Street gem has been whipping up (and selling out of) these adorable Sakura Mochi Melopans and Sakura Rose Mochis. These offerings are a part of their new spring flavour lineup, which also includes a delicate little sakura cake.

Gyoza Bar
This spot is featuring its vibrant Roasted Beet Gyoza and Market Salad for the occasion, as well as its version of the Sakura Mochi with azuki paste, kinako, Japanese kuromitsu sauce, and vanilla ice cream. Guests can also enjoy a taste of spring with Gyoza Bar’s Strawberry Pistachio Frozen Cocktail.

The Sakura Night Gala
The fundraiser for Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival is happening on April 22. This celebration of Japanese arts and culture raises money for a ton of free community events and programming. It will feature eats from seven local chefs, along with sake, beer, and wine pairings.

UVA Wine & Cocktail Bar
Sabrine Dhaliwal at UVA Wine & Cocktail Bar has created a beautiful ‘Petals & Pansies’ cocktail in celebration of Sakura Season. Get this fruity concoction at the Seymour Street bar starting March 21.

Enjoy an exclusive collection of Sakura Petit Fours including a Yuzu White Chocolate Cheesecake with rose sakura gelee, Lychee Raindrop Cake with kinako and jasmine syrup, Raspberry Honey Castella with red bean mochi ice cream, and a Sakura Macaron with matcha white chocolate.
