And then there were three.

After a last week’s abundant snowfall – as well as the opening of its North Shore neighbours Cypress and Grouse Mountain for the 2016-17 season – Mt. Seymour is set to open to the public this Wednesday, November 30.

Currently, the snow depth at the base of the mountain is 60 cm, while the top of the Mystery Peak Chair boasts 95 cm.

The mountain will open at 1 pm Wednesday to Friday, and then 9 am to to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Both the Mystery Peak Express Quad Chair and the Goldie Meadows Magic Carpet will be operating, as well as the two terrain parks.

“We are thrilled to open Mt Seymour for the 2016/2017 season this Wednesday,” said Eddie Wood, Mt Seymour’s general manager. “The La Nina weather system is delivering an early opening and we cannot wait to enjoy the slopes with our guests.”
