Today, lifts will start spinning for the season at another popular resort, as Cypress Mountain Ski Area opens for the season.

The resort will welcome guests from 10 am to 3 pm, and then open from 9 am to 4 pm this weekend.
“With the amount of snow at higher elevations, we have the green light to open,” the resort stated on its website.
The Lions Chair and Easy Rider Chair will be open, and the plan is to have Sky Chair accessing T33 run open, but “that opening might be delayed in the morning depending on the overnight snowfall,” the statement added.
Lift tickets will also be 40% off on Friday.
