A new Moroccan restaurant just opened in Gastown
Moltaqa is the newest healthy eatery to open in Gastown, and it looks like one chill oasis we can seriously get down with.
The new cozy Moroccan restaurant is located in the former space of the Acme Cafe at 51 Hastings Street, which shuttered in November of last year.

Moltaqa teases traditional tagine cooking using no oils, along with offerings like fresh bread, harissa, and prawn cocktails on the menu.
Expect a variety of halal offerings that are vegan, pescatarian, and gluten-free as well as a ‘sensational wine list.’

This spot will be open daily from 11:30 am to 4 pm, and 5 to 9 pm other than Friday and Saturday, where closing is extended to 11 pm.
