A brand new Burnaby restaurant is making a huge sushi roll within its four walls – and it’s the biggest we’ve come across in Vancouver during our in-depth and never-ending search for sushi greatness.

Sooda Korean BBQ in Burnaby serves this epic 18-inch roll made with premium eye of round beef and rice called the Sooda Box.

For just $24.95 patrons at the Lougheed Highway restaurant can enjoy this 17-piece oshi-style sushi roll topped with jalapeño.

While the price of this roll doesn’t exactly blow our minds (you can get cheap deals for the same amount of sushi at other joints), the impressive presentation and length of the one order of the Sooda Roll is enough to tempt us to head to Burnaby and try the creation for ourselves, especially to get that insane Instagram.

The other offerings are pretty tempting here too, though.

This spot also offers dishes such as insane spicy and cheesy Dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken), Bulgogi (thin grilled marinated slices of beef or pork), Dolsot-style Bimibops, and Kimchi Fried Rice to name a few. Sooda also offers ice cream soju cocktails.
