Le Burger Week Vancouver just announced its 9 participating restaurants
Le Burger Week Vancouver is going down this year from September 1 to September 7, so block off your calendar and get out those stretchy pants.
For 2017, Le Burger Week has gone national and will be taking place in six provinces and 11 cities including Montreal, Quebec City, Cornwall, Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, and Vancouver.
This means almost 400 restaurants across the nation will simultaneously serve a unique burger competing to be the best in their respective city.

This annual event has been operating since 2012, when the inaugural week went down in Montreal with 20,000 participants. Now, Le Burger Week even has events across Canada, in Haiti, and in a few US cities including Buffalo, Cleveland, and Omaha.
Le Burger Week invites the public to head into participating restaurants (or order via Skip The Dishes, if the establishment offers it) and vote online for their favourite burger.
Each restaurant will be offering a special “burger price” for participants to get in on so they can try them all.
This year there are nine venues taking part in Le Burger Week Vancouver:

- Mamie Taylor’s
- ShuRaku Sake Bar + Bistro
- The Pie Hole
- East Side Craft House
- Charqui
- Relish Gourmet Burgers
- Vera’s On The Drive
- Fable Diner
While we don’t have all of the official offerings to share with you just yet, we do have a few sneak peeks of what to expect.
ShuRaku Sake Bar + Bistro will be serving up the ShuRaku Rice Burger – a combo of rice burger with sautéed sliced rib eye with house made BBQ sauce, panko crumbed fried lotus roots, and jalapeno and chili miso sauce, and a rice burger with Grilled Saba Mackerel, Japanese Karashi, Dijon mustard and Shiso leaf (available during dinner service only).
Another dish to look forward to? Fable Diner’s Fable Diner Burger. This combines a 6 oz grass-fed local beef patty, foie gras, sunny side egg, Fable-made ‘beef dripping’ mayo, pickles, and diced onions.
When the full line up is released we’ll be sure to fill you in, but for now, we have some stomach-stretching to do before September 1 rolls around.
