These dog daycares are offering free pet care in December

The holidays can be an extremely stressful time for pet owners, especially when it comes to keeping their animal friends safe and occupied when visitors are over.

Bright lights, strangers, loud music, and a house full of decorations (that may not be pet-friendly) can sometimes be stressful for the animal – and in turn, stressful for the owners.

That’s why this December, Jet Pet is offering to take some of the stress out of your holiday celebrations.

During the first three Saturdays of the month, December 1, 8, and 15, Jet Pet is offering free care for cat and dog owners between 4 and 10 pm.

The company, which has three locations across Metro Vancouver, creates and tailors an experience with the thought of being “dog purposeful.” That means that every detail of the environment is created with a dog’s perspective in mind — including the sights, smells, sounds, and textures that they encounter.

In exchange for the free service, which can cost anywhere from $29 to $109, Jet Pet is asking pet owners to give a cash donation to the BC Chihuahua Rescue, who are in greater need of donations around the holiday season.

Jet Pet has three locations across the Lower Mainland including Vancouver, the North Shore, and Olympic Village. All three of them will be offering these free services.

Booking is first come, first served. Interested pet owners can call, email, or visit their website to find more information.
