Happy Hours: $4 drinks, $5 food, and $8 boozy Adult Pop Floats at Slickity Jim's on Main

We’re sipping our way through Vancouver’s happy hours one drink at a time. Happy Hour is an important time in everyone’s life – or at least, it should be.

Slickity Jim’s is a funky neighbourhood haunt with a killer happy hour.

While this spot has two locations – one on Main Street and one in South Granville on 7th Avenue – only the Main Street location offers happy hour seven days a week.

So what can you expect when you step in Slickity Jim’s between the hours of 4 and 6 pm and 10 and midnight?

For one, you’ll find a stacked $10 and $5 food menu.

For 10 bucks get The Breakfast (two eggs, toast, potatoes, and tea or coffee), Nachos, The Union Burgers, or Mac ‘n’ Cheese.

On the $5 list, expect to see cauliflower lettuce wraps, BBQ pulled pork tacos, green bean french fries, and riblets.

For drinks there’s draft beer, highballs, house wine, and shots for just $4, along with a cocktail list too.

You can always opt for something more elaborate like the $8 Adult Pop Floats – a combo house made vanilla ice cream, and your choice of root beer, cream or orange soda, or Coke mixed with Bourbon, Whiskey, or Cherry-Infused Rum.

Basically, if you wanna eat or drink for cheap – Slickity Jim’s has you covered almost all the way until midnight.
