[UPDATED] Nearly 1,300 customers without power in Gastown and East Vancouver

BC Hydro crews are currently investigating the cause of a power outage in downtown Vancouver that has left nearly 1,300 customers in the dark.

The outage occurred at around 9:45 am on Thursday morning, and is affecting most of Gastown and extends into Strathcona and Hastings-Sunrise.

Crews estimate they’ll have the power back on by 10:45 am.
