Where to get free coffee in Vancouver on National Coffee Day

Sep 24 2016, 8:15 am

Thursday, September 29 is National Coffee Day and we all want to celebrate (even though we’re “borrowing” the day from our friends in the US).

Coffee companies across the country want to help Canadians get their free fix of java this year.

Here are a few places in Vancouver where you can get a free cup of coffee in honour of National Coffee Day.

  • Shell gas stations’ self-serve coffee bar, Costa Coffee, is offering a free coffee in any customization, from café lattes to an Americano.
  • American donut chain Krispy Kreme is also taking part in the freebie fun by giving out a free small coffee and a donut to customers. You’ll just have to make the trek to North Delta, where their sole BC location is.
  • 7-Eleven Canada has been on the free coffee train every day this week, in an effort to pump up their rewards app. It’s “Free Coffee Week” now through October 1 at participating 7-Eleven locations. Get more info from their site.
  • Local coffeehouse mini-chain Trees Organic isn’t quite handing out free cups of coffee, but they are doing a “Triple Coffee Stamps” promo to help get you to your next free cup sooner. They have five locations in Vancouver.
