Here is your Easter long weekend Vancouver weather forecast

Given the seemingly never-ending parade of precipitation that Vancouver has faced over the past month, you’d be forgiven for holding your breath as we approach the Easter long weekend.

After all, the local climate hasn’t been much to write home about recently, with a sodden spring that has us all wondering if the sun actually exists or if it was some kind of communal dream.

Well the good news is that the great fiery orb in the sky actually does exist, and it will be showing its face this Sunday.

The bad news? Sadly the rest of the weekend won’t be as nice.

But let’s stop for a minute and revel in the fact that the weekend forecast is calling for sunny skies and temperatures up to a balmy 14°C this Sunday.

Sadly, however, the sunshine will be more of an exception rather than a rule with the forecast for Friday, Saturday and indeed Monday calling for cloudy skies, rain, and a repeat of the all round meteorological ‘meh’ that has gripped the city this month.

So make the most of Sunday, because who knows when we’re going to see the sunshine again.
