Ring in 2019 at Vancouver's only indoor New Year's Eve party with fireworks
Give 2018 a proper wind down, and start 2019 with a bang!
There will not be anything understated about the Concord Countdown Central indoor party held inside the beautiful West Building of the Vancouver Convention Centre in downtown Vancouver.
The enormous West Ballroom — one of the largest ballrooms in Canada — will be transformed into the largest indoor NYE party in Canada. It is all part of Concord’s New Year’s Eve Vancouver, one of the largest NYE festivals in Canada.
The bulk of this year’s festival programming will be located indoors.
Revellers can take in the concert festivities, whimsical art installations, and spectacular high-aerial fireworks from a warm, comfortable, and fun indoor environment. The fireworks will be viewed through the convention centre’s impressive multi-storey high, floor-to-ceiling windows.
This is also the only indoor party in Vancouver with its own fireworks. In fact, the fireworks barge in Coal Harbour is strategically positioned to provide indoor party revellers with the best, unobstructed sightlines of the fireworks.

A Celebration Pass will get you into this party; expect a lineup of musicians and bands (to be announced soon) on the ballroom’s main stage, roving dancers, and surprise performances throughout the night!
Fully licensed bar service will be available for revellers, so that they can greet 2019 with a glass of champagne and other concoctions.
Families with young children, seven years old or younger, can also bring their kids into the indoor party for free.
The first dazzling fireworks show at 9 pm is five minutes long while the even more intense midnight moment fireworks is 10 minutes.
