This local mountain's giant 'sliding zone' is officially open for winter
Get ready to slide down one of the city’s most popular mountains.
Grouse Mountain’s sliding zone is officially open for the winter season. The two-lane hill is the perfect place to grab your sled and enjoy some winter fun.
The hill is located west of the skating pond at the Chalet level. Sliders are recommended to wear proper winter gear (mitts, boots, toques).
Sleds must be rented for $5. Season-long rental access is available for $10 per person or $25 for a family. No outside sleds are permitted.
Be sure to enjoy Grouse Mountain’s Peak of Christmas activities, featuring an 8,000-sq-ft outdoor ice skating pond, Santa’s workshop, and a magical light tunnel.
