Enjoy 'A Traditional Christmas' with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra
With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season now here, a different kind of Christmas event is offering people the chance to connect with the true spirit of the season.
Far removed from the crowded malls and busy streets, a special performance by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (VSO) awaits those who are looking to slow things down, even just for a few hours this Christmas season.
Taking place on select dates throughout early December the VSP presents A Traditional Christmas at St. Andrews Wesley Church.
Performances take place from Friday, December 8 to Sunday December 10, with varying performance times, including a matinee.
The music is conducted by William Rowson, an accomplished composer, whose work has been featured at at the Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival, UBS Verbier Festival, the Banff Centre’s Summer Music Series, and Niagara on the Lake International Chamber Music Festival.
This year’s event also celebrates the its 25th Anniversary.
