A holiday event popular with both locals and tourists is once again returning to Jack Poole Plaza this year.
Featuring more than 75 huts of authentic, German sweets, treats, and treasures, the Vancouver Christmas Market is a holiday staple in the city and offers something for everyone of all ages.
Each year, the Vancouver Christmas Market brings this festive Old World tradition to Vancouver. This cherished holiday event offers an authentic German feast for the senses.
Stroll the twinkling pathways of a European-inspired Christmas village in the crisp winter air.
The market opens to the public on November 22, and is open daily from 11 am to 9 pm until December 23.
For last-minute Christmas spirit and gift ideas, the market is open on Christmas Eve, from 11 am to 6 pm.
Unlike last year, it will not be open after Christmas Day through New Year’s Eve.
Wander the market’s winding alleys and discover an array of authentic German delicacies: sizzling sausages, scrumptious schnitzel, warming Glühwein (mulled wine), Bavarian beer, old world confections, and much more.
A full list of vendors, as well as activity and event schedule is available here.
The Vancouver Christmas Market is this year’s only holiday season-long event as Enchant Christmas Light Maze and Market has been cancelled.
