A huge Latin American festival is happening in Vancouver next month

The biggest Latin American festival in the Pacific Northwest returns to Vancouver this July.

Taking place from July 7 to 8, the 10th annual Carnaval Del Sol is a two-day celebration of Latin American Culture.

The event features live music, art, dance, sports, and poetry. Over 400 artists from different Latin American countries will attend the festival as well this year.

The arts showcased during this event include live musical bands, Native Canadian and Latin American visual art, traditional folk dances from different countries, arts and crafts displays, dancing and culinary lessons (from international and local chefs), and a Latin American inspired fashion show.
