TTC monthly passes are now available for PRESTO cards

TTC monthly passes are now available for PRESTO users.

The announcement was made on the TTC’s website, stating that a number of adult and senior monthly passes for June are now available.

And on PRESTO’s website, a notice is up on the main page stating:

TTC customers who regularly use streetcars, buses, and PRESTO-enabled subway entrances may now be able to load a June monthly pass onto their PRESTO cards. A limited number of adult and senior June monthly passes are available for purchase only via the PRESTO website.

While it is only available for limited numbers, it is unclear at this time when monthly passes will be fully available for PRESTO.

PRESTO is an electronic payment system that eliminates the need for tickets, tokens, passes and cash, and is used across local transit in the GTHA and Ottawa.

Earlier this month, PRESTO announced that their cards would be refillable at limited Shoppers Drug Mart locations.
