Police issue public safety warning after man enters downtown Toronto residence

Toronto Police have issued a public safety warning after a man entered a woman’s condo in the downtown core over the weekend.

According to police, on Saturday, August 18 just before 3 am, a man entered the residence of a 30-year-old woman in the area of Bathurst Street and Fort York Boulevard.

Police say once the woman became aware of the man’s presence in her home, she confronted him and the man fled.

The suspect is described as 25 to 30, Asian, with a light brown complexion, slim build, and short dark hair.

The Toronto Police want to remind the public to lock their doors and secure their homes at all times.
