Man drops his pants and grabs woman in brazen daylight assault in Aurora (VIDEO)

York Regional police have released a security video of a man appearing to sexually assault a woman mowing her lawn in Aurora over the weekend.

According to police, on Saturday, August 11 around 3:30 pm in the area of Bayview Avenue and Wellington Street East in Aurora, a 47-year-old woman was outside mowing her front lawn.

In the video released by police, you can see a male suddenly approach the woman from behind as he pulls down his shorts and grabs her and forces her towards him.

The woman then turns around and pushes the suspect away. They briefly exchange words before he flees the scene on foot.

He’s described as a white male, sandy-brown hair and a medium build. He was wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts.

Police have asked anyone with information who was in the area at the time of the incident to please come forward. Police have also asked anyone with video surveillance in the area to contact them.
