Despite the freezing temperatures Toronto experienced on New Year’s Eve, the city still rang in the new year with a bang.

And this New Year’s Eve, Nathan Phillips Square was definitely the place to be.

Those who decided to leave the warmth of their homes and brave the cold were able to enjoy the live music and DJ shows and take in the incredible fireworks display in front of City Hall.

If you didn’t make the trek outside (we don’t blame you, it was close to being the coldest New Year’s Eve in Toronto in 55 years), here are a number of incredible photos and videos from this year’s celebrations.

Enjoy!
