What: There are only a few more days to check out Elevate TechFest, a week-long tech festival that showcases the best of the Canadian innovation ecosystem and welcomes the world to our city. The event features inspiring keynotes, topical content streams, experiential programming, and epic socials. Speakers include Al Gore, Whitney Wolfe Herd (Founder and CEO, Bumble), Sarah Friar (CFO, Square), Julie Rice, (Chief Brand Officer, WeWork), and many more.

What: The only thing better than another location of My Roti Place in Toronto is FREE roti at its grand opening – and that’s exactly what’s happening today. Customers that head to the second location of the customizable roti shop between 10:30 and 11:30 am will get one of those drool-worthy spicy rotis we know and love at no cost.

What: Music legend Elton John has announced he is retiring with his huge global farewell tour, Farewell Yellow Brick Road, which is stopping by Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena this evening.

#MeToo & The Arts
What: Join leaders in the arts community for an in-depth panel discussion on gender and power dynamics. They will explore the role played by art institutions within the larger conversation about art and artists during the time of the #MeToo, Time’s Up, and #AfterMeToo movements. This program includes post-event reception and access to the ROM’s #MeToo & the Arts Installation.
