Alter Ego Exhibit

What: Alter Ego celebrates Canadian comic book heroes, including Scott Pilgrim, Captain Canuck, Nelvana, and Kagagi, in addition to some of Canada’s best biographical and realist comic creators, like pioneering Superman artist Joe Shuster.

When: Now until July 29

Paprika Festival

What: The 17th Paprika Festival kicks off today and runs until May 20. Come and enjoy new plays, movement, music, workshop productions, experimental art and more — all created by young artists.

The Chef Collective Pizza Battle

What: The Chef Collective, sponsored by Kraft Heinz present this battle featuring four chefs and 4 bloggers teaming up to master the all-time classic: pizza! Doors open at 6 pm, the battle starts at 7 pm sharp!

Open Kitchen Toronto

This collaborative dinner series aims to showcase and support the advancement of women in the culinary industry. For this installment, chefs Lora Kirk and Lynn Crawford will feature a market-inspired, four-course farm honouring the farmers, fishermen, and friends of Ruby Watchco. Cocktail and wine pairings included.

The Future of Film
