Another day, another snowfall warning in effect for the city of Toronto.

Environment Canada issued the warning on Sunday, as 15 to 20 cm of snow is expected to fall in the region today.

“For those dreaming of a white Christmas, you will get your wish,” reads the weather statement. “A Texan low is gathering strength this morning and will race towards us later today. It will transport snow into the Greater Toronto Area late this afternoon.”

Snow is expected to be heavy at times during the evening, and visibility may be limited making travel challenging.

By the time the snow stops falling overnight on Christmas Eve, there will be an accumulation of 15 to 20 cm.

So there it is, a very white Christmas is on its way.
