Massive Filipino grocer Seafood City now open in Mississauga
The long-awaited Seafood City Supermarket at Mississauga’s Heartland Town Centre is now open.
It’s the first Canadian outlet for the Filipino grocer which already boasts 20+ locations in the U.S. and is known for its vast inventory of fresh seafood, meat, produce, and imports from the motherland.
The supermarket will also, one day be home to one of Toronto’s first fast-food counters from Jollibee though the website for Heartland Town Centre notes that the opening date for the makers of ChickenJoy fried chicken and sweet spaghetti studded with hot dogs has now been pushed back until early 2018.
For now, shoppers can feast at one of the already operational quick-service concepts including Grill City, Noodle Street, and CrispyTown.
