Jollibee and Seafood City are opening this spring in the GTA

Mississauga is about to become a hub for Filipino food lovers.

The Phillippines’ largest fast food chain, Jollibee announced its entrance into the GTA more than two years ago but has only just locked down a location for its long-awaited first outlet.

Beloved for a menu that features crispy golden ChickenJoy fried chicken, sweet spaghetti studded with ham and hot dogs, and Spam sandwiches, the fast food restaurant is expected to open in spring 2017, inside the incoming Seafood City Supermarket at the Heartland Town Centre located at the corner of Mavis and Britannia.

The arrival of Seafood City is big news in itself. The Filipino supermarket already boasts 20+ locations in the U.S. and once open, will be stocked with all the Goldilocks ube loaves and Magnolia ice creams you could ask for… not to mention their signature Grill City hot counter is just drool-inducing.
