Double D's deep dish pizza is opening a second location on Toronto west side

Double D’s delivery zone is about to double.

The purveyors of Chicago-style deep dish pizza debuted on Gerrard just this past January and is now about to take over the former address of Junked Food Co. which recently relocated to Queen West.

The neon sign goes up Thursday and the new pizzeria should be open in 2 weeks.

For the uninitiated, expect three-finger high pizza crusts encircling a soup of cheese and sauce embbed with toppings like pepperoni and Italian sausage (The Chicago Classic), or blue cheese, sausage, bacon, and jalapenos (a la the Jalapeno Blue).
