This weekend is your final chance to visit The Bentway Skate Trail this winter

As the old saying goes, “all good things must come to an end”.
This couldn’t be more fitting for Toronto’s Bentway Skate Trail, as it’s gearing up to host its final weekend skate of the winter season.
From this Friday to Sunday, Torontonians are invited to head to The Bentway to enjoy plenty of winter surprises in honour of the site’s extremely successful inaugural season.
To bring the final weekend celebration to life, The Bentway has partnered with Lyft to offer visitors 500 free skate rentals, 500 free mugs of hot chocolate, the ‘ChairLyft,’ – a customized selfie booth – and plenty of other onsite surprises.
Friday will also conclude the final BEATS AND BENTS skate party, featuring DJ General Eclectic’s and La Rumba Buena’s Tropical Ice Skate.
Lyft will also be offering promo codes for discounted rides to-and-from the site’s designated drop-off and pick-up point at the entrance to the Fort York Visitor Centre parking lot.
Skaters can receive up to $5 off two rides, to-or-from The Bentway, by entering the promo code THEBENTWAY in the promo section of the Lyft app.
The final weekend skate will kick off the next phase of construction at The Bentway, which will include the completion of a number of additions to the site including a performance space and ‘Green Amphitheatre’ which both are expected to be completed in time for summer.
