Mtl en Arts
The Mtl en Arts festival returns to The Village today for its 19th edition.
The festival extends throughout a one-kilometre stretch of Montreal’s famous Ste-Catherine Street, closed off to vehicular traffic and features painters, photographers, sculptors, illustrators, ceramists, and glassmakers in what is the largest open-air exhibition in Eastern Canada.
The festival aims to further promote and develop the concept of art in the street and in public spaces.

Snowbirds Air Show
For the first time ever, Chambly is hosting an air show by Canada’s military aerobatics team, Snowbirds. The squadron, based near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, will perform a 45-minute aerial show today.
The air show will be followed by a concert at Parc des Ateliers.

Free aquatic complex for kids
Parc Jean Drapeau’s Aquatic Complex features three massive Olympic-sized pools, trampolines, diving boards and towers, a shade area, sprinklers and water sports.
What’s even better? It’s free for kids (aged 13 and under) on Wednesdays!
It’s supposed to be a little bit cloudy today but still hot enough for some pool activities.

Shane Murphy at Honey Martin Pub
Shane Murphy is one of the best musicians in Montreal. He’s appeared at Jazz Fest and Osheaga and does his regular Wednesday gig every week at Honey Pub in NDG. He’s silky smooth on the guitar and has a soothing and hip voice. He plays covers and original pieces. Considering it’s free entrance to watch him, it’s an absolute steal.

Angry Lobster Oysters
The Angry Lobster Oyster Bar offers $2 oysters every Wednesday during their 5-7 happy hour.
The up-scale seafood spot, in the heart of downtown, has a gorgeous terrace, an impressive cocktail and scotch menu, and very tasty seafood meals.
