Montreal’s favourite winter festival is officially back.
Parc Jean Drapeau’s annual Fête des neiges kicked off last weekend.
Until February 11, the park will host a myriad of snow-themed events and activities.
Remember to bring your tuque, gloves, and feet warmers, and get ready for the most exciting winter event of the year!
While there’s plenty of fun activities at this year’s festival, here are our top recommendations.
Skating Path
Take a skate on the refrigerated skating path while enjoying amazing views of the city. Changing rooms, lockers, skate rentals, and skate sharpening are available at Ecorecreo.
Zip-lining
Zip across the ground on one of four 450-feet-long downhill cables. This is definitely an activity for the winter daredevils out there!
Snow tubing
Enjoy some good old winter fun with snow tubing. There are eight lanes available so the lines will never get backed up.
Dog sledding
Enjoy dog sledding right in the city. You’ll be accompanied by a guide and some very cute pups!
Ice ship
Unlike other ice sculptures also be featured at Fete des Neiges, Ice Boat is an interactive pirate ship made out of ice. It even lights up during the evening!
Big Jump
Are you ready to conquer heights? Jump off this 50-foot tower and conquer your fears! Even Mayor Valerie Plante tried it out!
