Fête des neiges: Montreal's massive 3-week winter festival is back (PHOTOS)
Your favourite winter festival is back.
Parc Jean Drapeau’s annual Fête des neiges returns for three spectacular weeks this winter.
Taking place between January 20 and February 11, the park will host a myriad of snow-themed events and activities.
Parc Jean Drapeau and Tim Hortons (who sponsors the event), are making this the biggest and best event yet.
Outdoor activities include snow tubing, cross-country skiing, dog sledding, snow archery, an icy pirate ship, ice skating, ice sculptures, ziplining, a Ferris wheel, Tour de Lévis , ax throwing, a penguin village, a Polar Circus, snow scooters, an inflatable bouncy castle, and a mini igloo play area.
Most activities are priced individually, however, groups or families can purchase an Accro Passe which gets you into all the main attractions. This costs $16 for 2 people or $50 for the entire family and also includes access to the Biosphere and the Stewart Museum.
In addition to the festival’s events, there will be a warming area, baby station, and plenty of food and drink options.
Remember to bring your tuque, gloves, and feet warmers, and get ready for the most exciting winter event of the year!
