Here are some events to check out at Montréal en Lumière 2018

Montréal en Lumière is back for its 19th year and the event page has already announced a ton of activities that will take over the city from February 22 to March 4.

The celebration is one of the biggest winter festivals in the world and invites visitors to take part in a multitude of events that revolve around performing arts, gastronomy, and outdoors activities.

Some festival highlights include:

Fine dining 

Montréal en Lumière brings together amazing chefs and experts from around the globe who will share their food and culinary experts with attendees. Get ready for seminars, workshops and tastings that will leave your taste buds feeling extremely satisfied.

World Cider Festival 2018 presented by the SAQ

The 2018 SAQ World Cup will introduce you to some 20 local cider producers and get you to discover cider in all its variations: sparkling, sweet, dry, ice, flavored … Tastings, contests, gourmet resorts and theme nights are coming!

Shows and concerts

The festival’s arts program includes 120 shows in disciplines ranging
from music and dance to circus arts and theatre.

The free outdoor site

Last year’s massive outdoor site included the huge light-up Ferris wheel, RBC Tyrolean Zip-Line, an illuminated urban slide, a disco curling event, and an outdoor campfire.

This year’s programming will be announced on February 6 so we will keep you updated.

Nuit blanche

Last year, Nuit blanche channelled the spirit of Expo 67 and it was a pretty wild night. This year’s programming will be announced on February 13 so be sure to check back in!
