Even through the clouds of smoke, some looks were simply hard to miss.

Thousands took to Sunset Beach for the annual 420 Vancouver celebration dressed in outfits inspired by their favourite plant.

According to event organizer and cannabis activist Dana Larsen, there were over 300 stalls selling dried flower, edibles, and a number of other cannabis-infused goodies for attendees to purchase.

The sunny day brought thousands out to enjoy the sunshine and music, including a performance by Cypress Hill.
