Calgary’s Ice Breaker Polar Dip 2017 kicked off the new year at the Elbow Valley Residents Club on January 1.

Roughly 90 people took the plunge into the frigid lake to raise money for SA (Servants Anonymous) Foundation’s work caring for victims of sexual exploitation and human trafficking.

The ‘dipsters’ came out wearing costumes, smiles, and cold weather reactions when all the clothing came off.

The inspiring plunge surpassed their fundraising goal of $65,000 raising $76,509.05 to date.

After checking out these photos, maybe you’ll see the power in signing up for the coolest way to start your 2018.

Until then, stay warm out there, Calgary.
