Beat Goes On Gala 2016 brings heart to Calgary in September

Aug 24 2016, 5:24 am

One of Calgary’s most prestigious fundraising nights is back for another year! The Beat Goes On Gala will be hitting Stampede Park in September.

This year the gala, benefiting cardiovascular treatment and research, will be held at the Palomino Room in the BMO Centre on September 10.

Effortlessly elegant, the night will begin in classic style with a cocktail reception and entertainment from musician Johnny Summers.

Guests will then enjoy a four-course dinner prepared by the Stampede Park’s executive chef Derek Dale, accompanied by music and live performances.

First up is nine-year old child prodigy and flamenco guitarist, Harry Knight, followed by headliner, Juno-award winning country rock singer-songwriter Jim Cuddy.

Tickets for the gala, organized by the Libin Cardiovascular Institute of Alberta, are available now, at $400 each.

This year, funds raised will benefit support for children born with heart defects and infrastructure for biomedical engineering research.
