Holding 24 full-sized bottles from around the wine world – including BC of course – this diverse collection is individually wrapped and numbered for every calendar day from December 1 to Christmas Eve (or at your own pace).
New District’s Director of Wine, DJ Kearney, chose each wine for the calendar and was inspired by all the occasions that make up the holidays:Â from dining and parties, to fireside sipping, or an “antidote to a day at the mall.”

The 2017 collection includes reds, whites, and sparkling wines from nine different countries. You have two options for shipping this year: streamlined, flat-pack white cardboard boxes, or three wooden wine cases.
You’ll be a getting an incredible deal with this advent – the streamlined shipping package is $999, meaning you’re spending just over $40 for each of the 24 bottles.
Considering the value of wines range between $35-$50 with a few in the $75 range – that’s a Christmas miracle if you ask us.

This year there’s another addition to New District’s holiday goods – the brand new 12-Day Wine Advent Calendar. This calendar has the same two shipping options, starting at $499 for the streamlined packaging.
Aside from the two curated wine advent calendars this year, New District will also be offering people the option to create a custom advent calendar or wine gift box specific to your tastes and budget. Customers may build their advent calendars or gift packs themselves online, or order by phone or email.
The good news is, if you order by November 20, you are guaranteed delivery by December 1. All Advent items will begin to ship in mid-November. Delivery in BC is free, too, or you can pick one up in person at New District’s store on Dunbar.
