It’s official, North Vancouver will be getting its first ever Whole Foods Market this year.

Fans of the beloved organic and health food chain can look forward to seeing the purveyor open in the CentreView development, located in Central Lonsdale.

The 40,000 square-foot store will is set to open its doors in early 2018, and it will be joined by other spots like a national pharmacy, a coffee shop, professional services, and a soon-to-be-named restaurant.

This location at 13th Street and Lonsdale Avenue will be the organic and natural grocer’s fifth store in Metro Vancouver.

The only other Whole Foods in the area is in West Vancouver in The Village at Park Royal.

CentreView will serve as a huge mixed-use structure, with around 340 homes in its towers, 90,000 square feet dedicated to retail space and underground parking, and 80,000 square feet of potential office space and more.

The grocery story is also hiring a few lead positions in light of this new opening.
