This winter date destination trumps all others.
A huge, 40,000 square foot Ice Kingdom is soon to be all yours to explore, as Whistler is opening up what basically looks like a Frozen version of Disneyland.
Including a snow maze, snow slide, snow sculptures, and, you guessed it, a whole snowy wonderland, Ice Kingdom is perfect for kids and adults alike.
There will be 50 different attractions to choose from, but one of the major highlights is the intricately designed snow sculptures displayed throughout the kingdom.
Headed by master carver David Xu Rui, a team of 20 internationally recognized artists will be creating works of art out of nothing but snow and ice – showcasing the 300-year-old Chinese tradition of ice carving.
The event runs from February 3 to March 31, and attendees will receive a discount on tickets if they purchase for before February 11.
Even if it will be just after the Early Bird cut-off, this would make a seriously awesome Valentine’s Day date… Just saying!
