Are you ready for the messiest and meatiest BBQ brunch in Vancouver?

Whiskey Six BBQ opened its brick and mortar spot at 826 Renfrew Street in May, and its been killing the BBQ game in East Vancouver ever since – and that includes our favourite mid-morning meal.

Aside from serving up its meat platters of perfectly-smoked ribs, briskets, and sausages during the week, Whiskey Six offers a BBQ-style weekend brunch that is a must-try if you love meat and you don’t care who knows it.

Patrons at Whiskey Six’s brunch can choose from offerings such as the Prohibition Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict – arguably one of the best pulled bennies in the city (says us), or you can opt for an avocado option too.

Both varieties of this classic come on corn bread, so, that’s amazing.

The brunch menu here is small but mighty, also boasting an epic serving of Smoked Brisket with baked beans, eggs, and hash browns, along with the Brisket Breakfast Sammie, a combo of organic beef brisket, fried egg, red onion, coleslaw, and southwestern mayo on a fresh-to-death bun from Fife Bakery.

Patrons can also opt for biscuits and jam, and sides such as coleslaw, bakes beans, kennebec fries, and braised greens during this service.

But what would a southern-style brunch be without a spicy Caesar?

Whiskey Six offers Caesars made with Walter’s Caesar Mix and Pickle Baron brine along with local spirits such as Sons of Vancouver vodka. This is definitely the ultimate bevy to pair with the perfectly-smoked offerings on this unique brunch menu.
