Where to see Santa Claus in Metro Vancouver

Santa Claus is officially in Vancouver. He is making appearances all around the city and now is your chance to tell him why you should be on his nice list.

To help you set up your date with Old St. Nick here’s our guide on where you can see Santa in Metro Vancouver this Christmas.

Brentwood Town Centre

  • Where: Brentwood Town Centre – 4567 Lougheed Highway, Burnaby
  • When: Now until December 24, 2016
  • Hours: December 1 to 10: Sunday: 11 am – 2 pm/ 3 pm – 5 pm. Monday to Saturday: 11 am – 3 pm/ 4 pm – 7 pm.
    December 11 to 23: Sunday 11 am – 2 pm/ 3 pm – 5 pm.
    December 24: Saturday: 11 am – 1 pm/ 2 pm – 4 pm.
  • Cost: $10 t0 $20 for photo packages. Partial proceeds go to benefit the Burnaby Hospital Foundation.

Coquitlam Centre 

  • Where: Coquitlam Centre – 2929 Barnet Highway, Coquitlam
  • When: Now until December 24, 2016
  • Hours: Monday to Saturday: 10 am- 8 pm, Sunday: 10 am – 5 pm, Except for Saturday, December 24:10 am – 3 pm. Santa must take a break to feed his reindeer every day at approximately 12:30 pm, 3 pm and 6 pm
  • Cost: $22 to $55 for photo packages.

Park Royal South

  • Where: Park Royal South Centre Court  – 2002 Park Royal South, West Vancouver
  • When: Now until December 24; Santa’s hours vary, check the schedule below.

Metropolis of Metrotown

  • Where: Metropolis at Metrotown, Grand Court (lower level) – 4720 Kingsway, Burnaby
  • When: Now until December 24, 2016
  • Hours: Monday to Saturday: 11 am- 1 pm/ 2 pm- 5 pm/ 6 pm- 8pm.
    Sunday: 11 am – 1 pm/ 2 pm to 5 pm/ 6 pm tp 8 pm
  • Cost: Photos with Santa are by donation per photo. Minimum suggested donations is $2 per photo.

Oakridge Centre

  • Where: Oakridge Centre, West Galleria – 1496 Cartwright Street, Vancouver
  • When: Now until December 24, 2016
  • Hours: Santa’s hours vary over the next few weeks. Please check online for details.

Kids Market at Granville Island

  • Where: Kids Market at Granville Island – 1496 Cartwright Street, Vancouver
  • When: December 3 until December 24, 2016
  • Hours: 11 am – 3:30 pm, daily

Guilford Town Centre 

  • Where: Guilford Town Centre, at Centre Court – 10355 152 Street, Surrey
  • When: Now until December 24, 2016
  • Hours: Monday through Saturday Santa is available from 10:30am to 8pm
    Breaks: 12:30 – 1 pm, 3 – 4 pm, 6 – 6:30 pm.
    Sundays Santa is available from 10:30 am to 5 pm
    Breaks: 12:30 – 1pm, 3 – 3:20pm.
    Sunday, December 18 Santa is available from 10:30 am to 8 pm.
    Breaks: 12:30 – 1 pm, 3 – 4 pm, 6 – 6:30 pm.
    On Saturday, December 24, Santa is available from 9 am to 11 am only.

Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops Tsawwassen

  • Where: Bass Pro Shops – Tsawwassen Mills, 5000 Canoe Pass Way, Delta

  • Cost: All visitors receive a free 4×6 studio quality photo in store. Other packages available for purchase in store.

Christmas in Kerrisdale

  • Where: Kerrisdale Village – West 41st Avenue between Larch St and Maple Street, Vancouver
  • When: Saturdays and Sundays only from December 3 to December 18
  • Hours: From noon to 4 pm

Festival of Lights at VanDusen Garden

  • Where: Indoors beside Shaughnessy Restaurant, VanDusen Garden – 5251 Oak Street, Vancouver
  • When: Now until December 24
  • Hours: From 5 to 9 pm
  • Cost: $15 to $20, excluding event entrance price

Santa Claus Parade

  • Where: The Parade is in downtown Vancouver, located just blocks from the Burrard, City Centre, Granville and Waterfront SkyTrain stations.
  • When: Sunday, December 4. Parade starts at noon.

Vancouver Christmas Market 

  • Where: Queen Elizabeth Plaza – 650 Hamilton Street, Vancouver. Santa is usually found at the Photo Hut, but you may spot him roaming the Market catching up on a little holiday Gift Shopping, or grabbing a delicious snack from one of our Food Vendors. Just give him a wave if you’d like to take say hello!
  • When: Now until December 24. Daily from 4 -7 pm, except December 24, 4 – 6 pm.

Peak of Christmas at Grouse Mountain

  • Where: Santa’s Workshop, top of Grouse Mountain – 6400 Nancy Greene Way, North Vancouver
  • When: Now until December 24
  • Hours: Weekdays: 12pm-8pm. Weekends: 11 am-8 pm. December 24: noon – 4 pm.
