Vancouver Art and Design Students impress with Total Work of Art event

To make it in art and design, you need more than a keen eye.

The creative industry requires passion and perseverance, on top of talent. And the students at Vancouver College of Art and Design (VCAD) are showcasing why they’re ready to make their mark in Vancouver and beyond.

Total Work of Art, a student-led open house, highlights their design work through an art and fashion show. Each student has a passionate drive to excel within their creative discipline and each brings unique insights and visual abilities.

The open house will feature a cocktail hour leading up to the fashion show, as well as an opportunity for networking afterwards. All guests will be entered into a draw for one of six $2,000 scholarships – one for each program starting in January.

Total Work of Art doesn’t just show off the talent of current students, it will also provide an inside look at the life of a VCAD student.

VCAD offers programs in Fashion Design, Game Development and Design, Marketing and Merchandising for Fashion, Interior Design, Mobile Game Design and Development, Visual Effects Art and Design, and 3D Modeling Animation Art and Design. Its explorative and unique programs result in the communication of innovative outcomes.
