The Prize: one simple legal signing ceremony at the amazing Pourhouse in Gastown. This is a fabulous low-key way of getting married in a luxury setting with the comfort of Darian running the show. It also includes four drinks (two for the couple and two for the witnesses). The value of this prize pack is $800!

“Who says ceremony’s can’t be fun?” “It’s not just about the reception when you can make it unique and special in your own way,” Darian explained. “You don’t have to go to Mexico to experience a great outdoor ceremony, not to mention dealing with the legal issues of getting married there.”

“When wanting to have your ceremony outside of the standard church method, you do have choices.”

In Vancouver you can get legally married in three ways:

1. Justice of the Peace. These are generally people 65+ and who do five to seven weddings a Saturday or Sunday. They work for the government and have their usual pieces to say.

2. Religious Person. This is your reverend, priest or rabbi. They usually want it done in their place of worship. They have their standard talks and procedures they follow.

3. Officiant. This person is connected somehow to a religious order and has the freedom to wed people at their location in your style and how you want it to be done.

If you want an Officiant that can deliver something memorable, fun and something that represents you, then Darian is your guy. He’s also known for doing Vancouver celebrity weddings and is a brand ambassador for the men’s custom suits company, Indochino.

“They are just such a great group there, so the partnership has worked out well. Not to mention they just have great suits at a great price.” Darian will be performing all of his ceremonies in the custom Indochino 3 piece Suit. “Guys should know, it’s not all just about the bride and her dress either, the men can look and feel great about too.”

The only thing you should have to think about when the big day arrives is showing up. So be sure to choose an Officiant who you can trust to set the right tone for your ceremony and the rest of the wedding day.
