It's going to be a wet weekend in Vancouver

You could think of it as a little teaser.

Thursday in Vancouver saw heavy downpour and flooding issues, before the skies became (relatively) clear and things seemed to dry up.

So you might be forgiven for thinking we’re out of the (rainy) woods for the weekend.

However, that is not the case.

According to Environment Canada, it will be another wet weekend in Vancouver, with Friday giving us the last real glimpse of sunshine for the next couple of days – potentially for a week, based on longer-term models.

Things are really starting to cool down temperature-wise as well, with daytime highs climbing only as high as the low teens, and night temperatures hanging around in the single digits.

All in all, it looks like this weekend will be a good one to celebrate the great indoors.

And hey, if you’re heading out on a road trip this weekend, use winter tires and keep an eye out for snow.
