Vancouver weather forecast brings rain, rain, and more rain

Apr 18 2017, 12:44 am

While the Easter weekend brought a brief break from the deluge of recent downpours in Vancouver, it appears the rain has returned with a vengeance this week.

According to Environment Canada, today’s rain is just the beginning of a whole week (and upcoming weekend) filled with liquid sunshine.

The week gets off to a wet start with rain today and this evening, amounting to anywhere between 5 and 10 mm, and it’s essentially the same story for the rest of the week.

Temperatures look like they’ll hover around the low teens for the majority of the week as well.

Tuesday and Wednesday forecasts also call for periods of rain, and there’s a 60% chance of showers on Thursday too.

Friday is forecast to provide rain-free relief (although under cloudy skies) and then it’s back to rain for the weekend.

So grab your Gore-Tex and unwrap your umbrellas – it looks like we’re in for one wet week.
