Yes, you too can catch that Golden Snitch, as part of the Vancouver Quidditch League (VQL).

A group of players from various teams have formed the VQL in order to promote Quidditch in Vancouver.

This summer the VQL will be organizing events in Burnaby and Vancouver.

The first game of the season will take place on May 8 at 6:30 pm, North Patterson Station, near Central Park in Burnaby.

The program runs weekly, on alternating Tuesdays (Central Park in Burnaby) and Wednesdays (Connaught Park in Vancouver).

The sessions are open anybody ages 16+ and no previous experience needed. The league runs for 14 weeks (May 8 – Aug 8) and there will be drop-in sessions all summer. There will also be a small fee of $2.00 for each session or $20 for the whole season.
